Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India (RASCI)

The Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India (RASCI) is an industry-led body under the NSDC that focuses on developing a skilled workforce for India’s rapidly growing retail sector. As retail evolves across physical and digital platforms, RASCI works to ensure that professionals are trained in modern practices, customer service, and business operations.

RASCI collaborates with top retailers, training partners, and academic institutions to design National Occupational Standards (NOS) for a wide range of roles—from cashiers and sales associates to store managers, visual merchandisers, and e-commerce specialists. These programs blend technical skills with behavioral training to boost productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
