Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI)

Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI) is an industry-specific organization under the NSDC created for developing trained and certified manpower for India's large and labor-intensive construction sector. Being a driver for the economic growth of the country, with infrastructure in focus, CSDCI has a crucial role in developing human capital according to industry needs.

The CSDCI works with building companies, training centers, and government agencies in developing National Occupational Standards (NOS) for different job functions—from masons, bar benders, and shuttering carpenters to riggers, painters, and finishers. The skill programs ensure safety, quality workmanship, and productivity on the ground, among other objectives.
