Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council (IESC)

Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council (IESC) is an industry-specific organisation under the umbrella of NSDC, constituted to cater to India's infrastructure and construction equipment sector's skill development requirements. With heavy machinery being the backbone of infrastructure building, IESC provides a constant stream of qualified operators and technicians who can handle sophisticated and safety-sensitive equipment.

IESC collaborates closely with equipment makers, builders, and training centers to create National Occupational Standards (NOS) and field training modules. They range from backhoe loaders and excavators to cranes, pavers, and concrete mixers.
