Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) is a national organization under the NSDC formed to fill the skill gap in India's healthcare sector. With healthcare becoming increasingly specialized and unavoidable, HSSC plays an imperative role in developing professionals who deliver affordable, safe, and quality care within the medical and wellness fields.

HSSC works with hospitals, medical institutes, industry associations, and government stakeholders to create National Occupational Standards (NOS) and competency-based training initiatives.
